Description

As an apprentice, you will be working at an established local company and gain extensive experience in a variety of CAD aspects. You will gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Training Description:

Train at the workplace
Attend NSEGTA 151 – 153 Marsh Street North, Hanley, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ST1 5HR – 1 day a week for 7.5 hours

Full Description:

The successful candidate will shadow a skilled CAD technician and benefit from their many years of skill and expertise and will work towards being able to (but not limited to):

Make use of CAD programmes such as Tekla, AutoCAD, SolidWorks
Create 3D models of Engineered assemblies
Create 2D drawings for use in a production environment
Working to strict drawing standards
Working in a professional environment

Outcome Description:

Progress to level 3
Remain in Employment

Description of Working Week:

Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours, will be discussed at the interview.
