Description

As an Apprentice Painter and Decorator, you will work alongside experienced painters to develop skills in painting and decorating working on different projects. You’ll learn how to prepare surfaces, apply paints and finishes, use tools and equipment safely, and maintain high standards of workmanship across a range of projects.

Training Description:

You will attend Stoke on Trent College (Burslem Campus) once a week to complete your off the job training. 

Depending on your GCSE grades, you may need to upskill and complete maths and/or English Functional Skills. 

Full Description:
  • Work alongside experienced painters and decorators.
  • Prepare surfaces and materials for painting.
  • Apply paint, coatings and finishes to a high standard.
  • Use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Learn different painting and decorating techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
  • Develop practical skills and knowledge towards the Level 2 Painter apprenticeship.
Outcome Description:

Potential opportunity for permanent employment on successful completion of your apprenticeship.

The Company directly employs FORTY fully qualified, CITB CSCS accredited painters and decorators, operating
throughout the North West, West Midlands and North Wales regions and carrying out projects ranging in value from
£5,000 to £1,000,000.

We take health and safety very seriously and are CHAS and Constructionline accredited and are a
member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA). The Company is also a member of the
