Description

This role offers more than routine tasks. We’ll provide training and support to develop your warehouse, stock management, organisational and logistics skills. As you gain experience, you’ll take on greater responsibility and play a key role in our growing family business, with real opportunities for career progression.

Training Description:

All training will take place in the workplace with visits conducted by a subject specialist Skills Coach to support.

Full Description:

You’ll receive full on-the-job training and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills and confidence develop.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Picking and packing products accurately and efficiently
  • Receiving deliveries and checking stock
  • Stocktaking and maintaining accurate stock records
  • Preparing and loading pallets for despatch
  • Processing customer orders
  • Reporting stock levels and discrepancies
  • Helping to keep the warehouse organised and running smoothly
  • Working as part of a small, friendly team to meet deadlines

One of our most important customers is Moonpig, and this is a key part of our business. As you develop, you’ll have the opportunity to take increasing responsibility for the Moonpig operation and play an important role in making sure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Outcome Description:

Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be opportunity for the right candidate to become a full-time member of staff with the option to become a co-owner of the business. You can then grow alongside the company, and take on more responsibility as things progress.

Description of Working Week:

Typical working week will be Monday- Friday 9am- 4pm.

There may occasionally be a requirement to work weekends during particularly busy periods, such as Father’s Day and Christmas. We’ll give you as much notice as possible when this is required.
