Description

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will work with practitioners to support children’s care, learning and development. You will help provide a safe, nurturing environment, assist with play activities, support routines, build relationships with children and families, and develop your skills while completing the apprenticeship.

Training Description:

Training will take place online and in the workplace. 

You may also need to complete Functional Skills in English or Maths dependant on your GCSE grades.

Full Description:
  • Support the care, learning and development of children aged 0-5.
  • Provide a safe, secure, inclusive and stimulating environment.
  • Support play-based activities and children’s daily routines.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Observe and support children’s development, progress and individual needs.
  • Assist with children’s daily routines, including meals, personal care and sleep routines.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.
Outcome Description:

There may be an opportunity for a permanent position on successful completion of your apprenticeship.

Description of Working Week:

Monday – Friday, daily hours to be confirmed.
